1. What we collect and why

Tamar collects the following data to provide our resume tailoring service:

• Account information — email address, name, and hashed password (or Google account link) for authentication.
• Resume content — the text of resumes you upload, used to build your experience profile and generate tailored resumes.
• Chat messages — conversations with Tamar, used to enrich your experience profile and apply feedback to resumes.
• Job descriptions — job postings you share, used to tailor your resume to specific roles.
• Usage data — which features you use and when, to improve the service.

2. How we process your data

Your resume and chat content is sent to OpenRouter for AI processing. This is necessary to generate enrichment questions, build your experience profile, and tailor resumes to job descriptions. OpenRouter processes data according to their own privacy policy and does not retain your data for training purposes.

3. Data retention

• Chat message content is purged after 360 days. Chat session metadata (dates, step, linked entities) is retained.
• All other data (experience profiles, generated resumes, account info) is retained until you delete your account.

4. Your rights

You have the right to:

• Delete your account — available in your profile settings. This permanently removes all your data.
• Request a data export — contact us at the email below.
• Access your data — your experience profile and generated resumes are viewable in the app.
